01Strictly necessary storage

Two items are stored in your browser local storage and are never transmitted: the theme preference (swiftly-theme) and saved calculator scenarios (swiftly-scenarios-*). Both exist purely to make the site usable.

Clearing your browser storage removes them instantly. No calculator stops working if you do.

02Analytics

We count page views in aggregate to understand which tools are useful. Analytics is configured without cross-site identifiers and without recording any input values. IP addresses are truncated before storage.

03Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

When we serve advertising, Google and its partners may set cookies to select and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and (only with your consent) personalise them. These cookies are set by Google, not by Swiftly.

Typical cookies you may see: _gcl_au (advertising conversion measurement, 90 days), IDE (Google DoubleClick ad personalisation and frequency capping, 13 months), test_cookie (checks whether your browser accepts cookies, 15 minutes), and Google-set NID or __gads identifiers where applicable.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland these cookies are set only after you accept them in the consent banner. Before that, Google Consent Mode is set to denied for ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads and at aboutads.info/choices. Opting out leaves ads in place but makes them non-personalised.

We do not pass calculator inputs, results or any financial figures to ad networks, and we do not use retargeting based on tool usage. Ad slots are labelled "Advertisement" and are never placed inside a calculator.

04How to control cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

05Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control signals where technically feasible by disabling non-essential advertising cookies for that browser session.

06Contact

Questions about cookies can go to hello@swiftly.tools with “Cookies” in the subject line, and we will respond within five business days.
